A mountain footpath between Constantia and Hout Bay. The most strenuous Leg on the route. Rated an 8/10 difficulty.

Magnificent views and flora and fauna beauty. There are no commercial stops in between so make sure you have enough to eat and drink for the day.

Our suggestion: Begin at East Fort on Chapman's Peak Drive and follow the footpath up towards Constantia Nek. Take the Price Drive alternative (seen on Google Maps) for a slightly longer Leg and to end at Schoenstatt Shrine. This way also includes the beautiful Silvermine Forest.

How to plan this Leg

1. Open Google Maps of the route (view map below or open in your Google Maps App).

2. Look for 'Atlantic Heights Leg 5' Blue line.

3. Once you've located the Leg, find Camino sacred spaces, accommodation, stamp locations, food stops, and chaperones. Book directly and remember to tell them you're on Camino. Brent will stamp your passport, sign it Cape Camino and write the date.

4. Get your Camino Experience Kit to proudly walk the route.
