Day 0, 25 Mar: Arrival at Goedgedacht
A unique and special place located in the mountain slopes of the Riebeek Valley. A sacred space for those who choose to see it that way, with a chapel onsite.
Meet fellow pilgrims and settle in. Arrive anytime after 4pm and before dark.
Day 1, 26 Mar: Goedgedacht to Dassenheuwel Farm Stay (14km)
Today's route is mostly on bush paths with magnificent views. It is essential to wear long pants to prevent being scratched by sharp bushes.
Day 2, 27 Mar: Dassenheuwel ➝ Hermon (9/16km)
You have two options today. The first is 9km and the second is 16km.
You end the day on the banks of the Berg River in Hermon. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of the Berg River promise to make your stay an experience to remember.
Day 3, 28 Mar: Hermon ➝ Riebeek Kasteel (14km)
Today is 14km through local farms. Either pomegranate or plumbs, depending on the time of year. You arrive in Riebeek Kasteel, a charming town where agriculture meets modern flair. There are many local eateries and galleries in the town.
