Cape Camino 20-24 April 2026 Beginners Route
Day 0, 20 April:
Dassenhuewel. Arrive after 4pm and before dark.
Day, 21 April: Dassenheuwel ➝ Hermon (9km)
From Dassenheuwel is a magnificent walk, on a four wheel drive track. At first, a small hill to conquer, and then a constant down hill.
You end the day on the banks of the Berg River in Hermon. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views of the Berg River promise to make your stay an experience to remember.
Day 2, 22 April: Hermon ➝ Riebeek Kasteel (14km)
Today is 14km through local farms. Either pomegranate or plumbs, depending on the time of year. You arrive in Riebeek Kasteel, a charming town where agriculture meets modern flair. We utilise many rest houses in Riebeek Kasteel. They are all nearby local eateries and galleries.
Day 3, 23 April: Riebeek Kasteel ➝ Delsema 13km via Delico
The next day is flat farm roads again to Delsma- a wedding venue run by Elisma and her staff. She is kind and shy and loves to cook. The accommodation is a no nonsense, neat line up of well equipped en-suite rooms.
Day 4, 24 April: Delsema ➝ Delico 7km
End after the days walk or after breakfast. No chaperone.
